A tool that only works on some skin isn't accurate. It's lucky.
Every skin concern Pulse detects is tested across all ten shades of the Monk Skin Tone scale before it reaches the app. If it can't meet the bar on every shade, it doesn't ship.

Privacy is built in from the first scan.
Face scans are biometric data. Pulse asks for your written consent before any scan and follows Illinois' biometric privacy law everywhere it operates.

Pulse for Pros lets licensed estheticians, medspas and dermatology offices follow the progress of clients who choose to share it, and recommend products and treatments right inside Pulse. Your clients stay on their routine because someone they trust is following along.

Why I'm Building Pulse
I noticed it almost right away. People weren't choosing skincare based on their own skin. They were buying whatever someone with "good skin" used, with no idea what was going on underneath. And I'm guilty of it too. If I saw something advertised enough, if my favorite influencer mentioned it, or if the packaging was pretty, it ended up on my shelf.
I've spent real money on products that didn't work, and I've gotten bad advice. What I was missing wasn't another product. It was a plan.
So I'm building one. Pulse looks at your skin, builds a routine around what it actually finds, and shows you whether it's working. And nothing ships until it works on every skin tone, including the deeper tones skin tech has gotten wrong the longest.
